Just eight weeks ago, the team at FREIGHT Kitchen & Tap hired on our new Chef, and the results are already bearing fruit. We’ve always been serious about our impact on the food scene in Cherokee Co., and right here on Main Street so bringing in some Professional Culinary muscle was a no brainer to cement our place as Woodstock’s original Southern Fare restaurant. We are focused on continuning to refine and share our vision of EAT. DRINK. LOCAL.
Come on in and meet our new team mate Chef Joe Burns. In just a few short weeks Joe has overseen the implementation of a new menu for dinner featuring even more fresh made from scratch menu ingredients, and recently begun preparing a new lunch menu and soon a brunch transition as well. In the next few weeks Joe will be working on plans for FREIGHT’s Annual Local Harvest Dinner, and fare to match up with a seaosnal wine dinner, and beer tasting event.
