Well folks, spring has sprung! It’s about time we kiss the dreary winter goodbye. As a farm to table restaurant, our favorite part about warm weather is the abundance of fresh produce. It takes a lot to be one of the best restaurants in downtown Woodstock, GA, but using quality local ingredients is a good start. Freight Kitchen & Tap stays at the top of Woodstock’s favorite list by not only using said ingredients, but updating menu items every season. Have a look at our new spring menu additions:
*New salad dressings include jalapeno raspberry vinaigrette, creole mustard
-Gangway burger (8 oz dry aged ground beef, tomato bacon jam, pickled jalapeno and green tomato cream cheese, red onion)
-Market fish (pan seared white fish, stone fruit, jalapeno, red onion, heirloom cherry tomatoes, beurre monte sauce)
We thank local partners Forerunner Foods, CalyRoad Creamery, Bear Creek Cattle Company, Logan Turnpike Mills, and Coleman Farms Chicken for providing us with top notch ingredients. Without the help of these small businesses in our community, we wouldn’t be where we are. Start spring off right and come try our new menu. Our dog friendly patio is the perfect place to sit on a nice day and if the train rolls by, you get the full Freight experience. Pair your lunch, brunch, or dinner with a local brew or one of a kind cocktail. We believe that guests come first and if you feel anything less than welcome at Freight, it’s probably just the front door getting stuck again. See you soon.
