It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Our community is full of so many beautiful decorations that it’s already a Merry Christmas in downtown Woodstock, GA. We hope everyone has a happy holiday with friends, family, and loved ones. Freight is open on Christmas Eve until about 3:00 PM, but closed on Christmas day. The good news is Christmas Eve is on Monday and that means NFL burger battleis still on! Even holidays can’t stand in the way of this tradition. What did the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders inspire this time?
Denver Omelette Burger– 8 oz. local angus beef patty topped with a sunny side egg, sautéed onions, sautéed peppers, peppered bacon, and cheddar cheese. Good morning!
Oakland Taco Burger– taco seasoned 8 oz. local angus beef patty topped with refried beans, jalapeno cheese sauce, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and sour cream. If that doesn’t scream “taco burger”, nothing does.
What else makes Mondays at Freight great is $4 craft on draft. Burgers and beer are a match made in heaven. Plus, you just can’t beat a deal like that. Treat yourself, it’s Christmas Eve! With 22 different drafts, there’s a beer for everyone.
Most importantly, please stay safe this Christmas. Holidays are times of joy and we need to keep it that way. Make good decisions, eat good food, and of course, be merry. We can’t wait to hear all your stories when you come back to Freight after Christmas. We hope Santa Claus brings you everything you asked him for (if you’re on the nice list). Let’s keep our fingers crossed that maybe we’ll see some snow soon! It’s going to be 57 degrees on Christmas day, so we can kiss the white Christmas wish goodbye. Happy holidays once again from everyone at Freight Kitchen & Tap.
