“Friday Night Live” is held on the first Friday of every month in downtown Woodstock. Put on your dance shoes and come to Freight this Friday July 7th for the FNL downtown dance party. Punky’s Pickles returns for another charitable pickle tasting event in our Rock Garden at 5:00 PM. There are 7 different flavors to try and a portion of the profits go to the American Heart and Stroke Association.
Shift gears Saturday July 8th for Drivin’ N’ Cryin’. The band performs from 7:30-9:30 PM at Northside Hospital Cherokee Amphitheater, the new location for Woodstock’s Summer Concert Series. The Red Hare Brewing beer tent at Freight offers 50/50 Radler, Gem City, Gangway IPA and Orange Creamsic-Ale. We also have a special 80s throwback cucumber flavored cocktail called “Sellout”.
Monday July 10th is a big day at Freight. The restaurant closes from 3:00-6:00 PM for a staff meeting and new summer menu tasting. The new dinner menu debuts that night after the meeting and the new lunch menu rolls out the next day. We change our menu every season to ensure quality and freshness. Our friends in Woodstock and other parts of north Georgia provide us with local ingredients daily while Chef Bobby works his magic. You can always expect the best from our culinary team.
