Can you feel it? The summer heat is here. If you have lived in the south for long, you know it is best to plan your outside activities in the early morning or later evening when the temperature is more kind. Woodstock, GA has some upcoming summertime events that align with the kinder gentler times of day.
Tonight – June 23rd – Check out the Party on the Moon concert at the Amphitheater this Friday night. The concert starts later in the evening at 7:30 PM. By this time, the temperature drops back into the low 80s which will allow you to dance the night away and still look good (wink). This concert is a community appreciation event. This party band performs worldwide for millionaires, celebrities, global company CEO’s, top sales executives, discerning brides and national and local philanthropists. It specializes in dazzling audiences with a unique blend of dance, 80’s, classic rock, disco/funk, R&B, Motown hits and new country sounds. You don’t want to miss out but make sure to stop by early and have dinner with us. Grab a bite to eat before you head over to enjoy the tunes.
Tomorrow morning – June 24th – The Farmer’s Market starts early from 8:30 – 11:30 AM. Get your fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, fresh crepes, and other locally made items before it gets hot outside. Enjoy roaming the various vendors and enjoy access to the farms and bring it to your table. You can find the market at the public parking lot at the corner of Towne Lake Pkwy & Main S. We love the opportunity to immerse yourself in the farm to table experience and hope you try a new culinary adventure in your kitchen.
The summertime events are here in downtown Woodstock. It is one of the many reasons it is great to live here.
