Fall fever is real. Aren’t we ready for some cool, gorgeous weather? Well, we’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is the last summer concert in downtown Woodstock, GA is this Saturday September 14th. That means we’re definitely moving in the right direction toward fall. The bad news is, well, it’s the last time to enjoy a summer concert. Luckily, it’ll go out with a bang with a performance by The Molly Ringwalds! The Molly Ringwalds are an 80s band that “dazzle and engage their audiences with energy and passion”. If you want a blast from the past, let them take you on a journey back to the 80s with all the hits of that generation. The concert starts at 7:30 PM at the Northside Hospital Cherokee Amphitheater.
Want to make the night even better? Stop by Freight Kitchen & Tap’s rock garden and grab a beer from the Terrapin beer tent. It’s the perfect way to take the edge off before you rock your socks off at the concert. Bring the whole family out Saturday and let the kids release that last bit of summer energy they’re holding on to.
Oh! We almost forgot to ask you if you like our new sandwich, the New Engineer. If you haven’t tried it, it’s made with fried chicken, bacon, gouda cheese sauce, and hot sauce. We (and many others) think it’s phenomenal. You’ll just have to come try it for yourself.
Stay tuned as we make other changes to our menu! You know that as the seasons change, so do our recipes. Because we love to use fresh, local ingredients, our menu changes based on what’s in season. Don’t worry – we won’t get rid of the fried mac and cheese balls or fried green tomatoes any time soon.
